We saw The Who at the L.A. Forum on Thanksgiving night in the early ’70s. There was a cloud of marijuana smoke hanging over the twenty thousand hippies in attendance. When the great concert ended we made our way back to my hippy van and saw the battery was gone! Being self-centered little hippies we stole the battery from the next car to our van and went on our hippy way.
