Over one million eggs will be released during this time and once fertilized by the male they will hatch within 36 hours giving birth to a larval stage of about 10 mm in length. These will live close to the surface unfortunately making them an easy target for predators. In fact, of the one million eggs produced only about half a dozen sailfish will make it to maturity.

Did you know that Sailfish are fast, with an estimated speed of over 110 km per hour, that’s 60mph +. You can lose 300 foot of fishing line in 3 seconds. The term, being spooled,means just that — your spool of line was striped from your reel. It happens.

The MLS listings are funny now-a-days and the realtors are also going to be hurtin for certain. What’s so funny in the MLS? The outrageous prices homeowners are asking for their properties? The number of short sales and foreclosures still on the market? The shadow inventory the banks are still holding?

Rest assured, the flood insurance issue is going to add the the foreclosure market as soon as homeowners realize they can’t afford to insure and they can’t afford to pay the house off. The only trade off will be in the value of your home and with the carrying cost to own rising, the only relief will come in what a home will sell for. People have budgets and when more of your budget goes for insurance, the less you have to pay for a house. The only people who will be able to sell will be people who can afford to sell, at a lower price.

Realtors hurting. How? They are paid a commission on what they sell. There will be more homes on the market as soon as homeowners realize they can’t afford what they got. There will be second homes dumped as people flee the fee ridden Keys. They may make less money but there will be homes for sale.

With all the issues facing us today, (sewers, flood, wind, enclosures etc) you’d have to be a fool to try and navigate the process alone.

The US government is on artificial respiration fiscally for the next 3 months. Meanwhile:

– The military readiness is being pared down with sequester cuts, budgetary paring down, lack of training and ignominious attacks on male supremacy (i.e. female hats for male Marines imposed from DOD/White House).

– Stories of systematic tapping of foreign leaders personal phones are being circulated, while alleged protestation from even friendly heads of state are becoming more and more astringent. Given the high likelihood that all advanced states are doing the same, the sheer hypocrisy is blatant, unless the goal is to undermine US legitimacy.

– Humana is being bandied about as the choice healthcare provider in drumbeat of media ads. Given HUMANA, AKA TRICARE, a government sponsored single payer system, is being advanced while “Affordable” Care is taking a beating is suspect in itself.

– Unlimited international phone rates are being offered for the first time by several communications companies. Given international commerce knows no borders, this helps the world of business certainly more than individuals.

The obvious question then becomes: Is the US being taken down piecemeal as a sovereign nation and being mutated into a new type of primus inter pares? Given that all the actions above are most likely contrived, planned and being implemented with an end game in mind, the answer appears to be that a new international order is being orchestrated right under our collective noses. By whom and for what ends and purposes? That remains to be seen…

There is really no sense being each other up over Obama, socialism or tea party excesses when our country is being systematically stolen from us by a new international order, albeit with the complicity of many of our chosen leaders.

Contrary to the ” I’m not a socialist comment”, Social Security was not, and is not a socialist program. It was sold and delivered as an investment program for the working class. The monies were to be held in “trust” by the

federal government to be delivered at retirement and beyond. Then congress got “wise” and said let’s spend that money now and we will replace it later.

Another government fiasco allowed by both parties. I have tried, and perhaps someone can help, but I can find no source of all the SS monies paid into the system versus all those taken out. The original 65 year target retirement age is logically out of date, but it was never intended to be providing 65 to 85 year retirement (or whatever our current average death age is) But due to the number of people using SS, Congress is scared to alter the plan. In fact in Bill Clinton’s second campaign, Hollywood great Ed Asner told my mother and many in Florida,”If Bill Clinton loses, your SS will be removed. She believed him, as did most of the Retired people in Florida. SS is sacrosanct.

Before society’s leeches multiply beyond the point of no return, perhaps we need to re-commission the “Don’t thread on me” flag.

I’m finding it hard to defend Obamacare any longer. I do  believe we need  national health care.

[Obamacare The deductible for many of the working poor has esculated to well over $10,000 when it was a more affordable $500-$2000.]   If they are truly the working poor & their income is 250% or less of the Federal Poverty Level, they get assistance for out-of-pocket, so even though the deductible is X on the face-value of the policy, the out of pocket is capped and goes as high as 73% of the actuary rate. They MUST buy a silver plan on the exchange and qualify on income. Link

What will our government do on Dec 13, 2013, when the Federal Reserve’s 100 year old contract is over? Will the FR keep running the money supply or are we in for a super crash?

Part 1) Before you read what follows, I suggest that you make sure that you’re seated, and take several deep breaths to calm you.

CNS is reporting that there are now more people on means tested welfare than there are people with jobs. CNS did an analysis of Census data. They discovered that while there were 108,592,000 people who fit the Census Bureau’s description of a means-tested benefit recipient in the fourth quarter of 2011. Please remember that Social Security and Medicare clients are not a part of the figure.  On the other hand, according to the Census Bureau, there were 101,716,000 people who worked full-time year round in 2011. That included both private-sector and government workers. Deer  Friends, there are now more people on welfare than there are people with jobs. Is it any wonder that our welfare state is going broke? This is the Democrat/liberal/progressive way.

Part 2) It won’t be too long before the mid term elections. It makes a lot of sense to be thinking about the differences in the results of Republican and Democrat governance. Results count.

Here in Florida, while Charlie Crist, Democrat, was governor, Florida lost 832,000 jobs, increased state debt by $5 billion, and had double-digit unemployment. Republican Governor Scott has led our economy out of the quagmire of Democrat debt. During Governor Rick Scotts first term, we have  paid down $3.6 billion of the state’s debt, and paid back $3.5 billion Florida owed to the federal government for unemployment insurance.  Because of Governor Scott’s fiscal stewardship, Florida now has a $1.5 billion rainy day fund.

Republican Governor Scott’s conservative fiscal policies have led to the creation of  over 365,000 private-sector jobs and the unemployment rate has dropped 4.1% – that’s the second largest unemployment drop in the nation since December 2010. Florida’s unemployment rate has dropped for 37 consecutive months. The current rate is 7%, below the national average for the 6th consecutive month.

Our burgeoning economy has permitted implementation of record state-based K-12 funding & merit-based pay for teachers. Gov Scott ended teacher tenure, and increased the standards of excellence in education for Florida students. Under Governor Scott’s leadership, Florida’s students are the real winners.  According to the National Council on Teacher Quality, for two years running, Florida has the best teachers in the country.  According to Education Week, Florida is 6th overall for K-12 education.  Florida’s teachers deserve reward, Scott along with the House and Senate, agreed to implement $480 million in teacher pay raises.

Thanks to Gov Scott, Florida state colleges have bachelor degrees for $10,000. College is now affordable for Florida families.  Governor Scott has held the line on tuition – just because tuition in Florida is low is not a reason to increase it.

The mid-term elections are not far away, I urge you to consider which is best for our future, Democrat debt, ineptitude  and Democrat intrusive government, or Republican fiscal responsibility with a proven track record and a minimized government that encourages personal accomplishment.

Part 3) Did you know that the contract for Obamacare’s website was bid on by 4 companies, but that only company was even considered?

Did you know that Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that was given the contract by Team Obama to build the failed Obamacare website?

Did you know that George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 whale campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract? It was the CGI group that Team Obama awarded the contract.

Did you know that the cost of the cloud component alone  of the ACA website has tripled since 2011?

Did you know that the original cost of the ACA website was capped at $55 million, to grow to a max of $93.7 million after 5 years? But now it exceeds $292 million and is still growing? Some report that the real cost is in excess of $600 million.

Did you know that CGI been a darling of the Obama administration. Since 2009 Team Obama  has bestowed GCI with $1.4 billion in federal contracts, according to US Aspending.gov?

Did you know that GCI was hired to build an online medical registry by Ontario? But last year, the Canadian province of Ontario fired CGI and canceled a $46 million contract because GCI had failed to deliver.
