Pumpkin Bran Muffins

Preheat oven to 375°

1 1/2 cups wheat bran
1 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 can pumpkin filling (7.5 oz)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/4 cup raisins
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda

Mix wheat bran and the other wet ingredients and stir. Let soak 10 minutes or longer
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Fill 12 muffin liners in muffin pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
