You also said that Little Palm was being assessed the equivalent of 91 EDU’s. How is that possible when they have only about 40 rooms? Is someone trying to make Little Palm EDU numbers look larger than they are to justify Little Palm getting central sewers instead of onsite?

Bigotry is tearing apart Key West, which has proven its often-boasted “One Human Family” creed is a farce. There but for the grace of God go every last one of us. I have been there, done that; I know homelessness all too well. I know being called a bum, a vagrant, a dirt bag all too well. I know knowing going somewhere else to homeless would be just as bad, or even worse when winter came.

How much are we really spending on the homeless? Consider the cost of extra policemen, ambulance and medical care, and jail facilities and staff. Let’s get down to the hard facts and initiate a clear policy to take care of our local people with problems, and encourage the others to move on elsewhere.

Your mayor and city commissioners, and their police, and many city residents, care nothing for the costs. They want homeless people to not be here. They already are “encouraging” homeless people to move on elsewhere, even as new homeless keep arriving. Jesus told his disciples in the Gospels, the poor would always be among them. He also told his disciples, as they did to the poor, they did also to him.

Geithner was at the helm when Wall Street Bankers who had been bailed out with our tax money, received handsome bonuses. Nine of the financial firms that were among the largest recipients of federal bailout money paid about 5,000 of their traders and bankers bonuses of more than $1 million apiece.

Then there was the GM bailout wherein thousands of suppliers for GM got shafted, never got paid for goods and services that they had provided for GM.  But, non-union employees lost jobs, and unions were made whole. Thousands of non-union workers lost their jobs.

Then there were the tens of billions of stimulus money wasted on green projects that soon went bankrupt. Many of the recipients of Team Obama’s largess with your money, were Obama supporters and donors.

President Obama took office vowing to banish “special interests” from his administration, yet nearly 200 of his biggest donors have landed plum government jobs and advisory posts, won federal contracts worth millions of dollars for their business interests. Democrat governance at play.

Then there is Fast and Furious. That illegal operation funded and operated by ATF and Justice, cost American and Mexican lives. It remains unresolved, there has been no justice, no shake up in ATF or the Justice Department.

The Keystone Pipeline issue still remains unresolved. It’s been 4 ½ years since Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State let it be known that she was in support of the pipeline. Even Obama’s beloved unions want it approved and are furious that he refuses to give the go ahead. Team Obama’s vacillation has deprived us of thousands of jobs and billions in revenue.

Now we still endure the machinations of the IRS being used as a political weapon by the Democrats. Now we know that at least one Democrat Senator demanded that the IRS focus its power on a tiny set of PACS, 9 of which were Tea Party related and one of which purported to be liberal. We now know that at least one very high ranking IRS official has refused to testify on the issue and that Team Obama is fighting tooth and claw to avoid having to give up emails and other documents concerning the issue. Now we are learning that the assault on the Tea Party pacs nearly certainly was given the go ahead by the White House. What happened to Obama’s promise to be the “most transparent and open” administration in history?

Then we have the Benghazi tragedy. Once again Team Obama’s promise of transparency was broken. They lied to us about the circumstances of the tragedy. The tragedy was most certainly the result of intentionally lax security at the Consulate and the CIA annex. There was insufficient security so that Team Obama could present a benign and smiley face to the Libyans. And so that his claim that terrorism was on the run would ring true. It’s clear, crystal clear, that Team Obama panicked and chose to lie inasmuch as they had been claiming that they were winning the war on terrorism. They bragged that they had killed Obama, but they refused to tell us that AQI and its allied organizations were running rampant.

No one has been held responsible for the Benghazi tragedy. It is incredible, but some on the left actually ridicule, laugh at, the investigation, citing it as being “ancient history.” Ask the families of the dead and grievously wounded Americans if it is ancient history. Sec. State Clinton infamously in an angry outburst at being questioned about the murders, blurted: “What difference does it make?” Perhaps Ms. Clinton would pose that question to the families of the victims.

Now we hear of the kidnapping of about 300 school girls by Muslim terrorists. The same group, Boko Haram,  that then Secretary of State Clinton had refused to label as a terrorist group even though that group was responsible for multiple acts of terrorism and hundreds of murders. Her refusal compounded the difficulty of tracking, gathering intell on the group, and acting against Boko Haram,

And now, we are learning that Team Obama’s VA is so horribly mismanaged that vets are literally dying for lack of care. We are hearing reports that patient records are being purposefully falsified so as to cover up the mismanagement. At the same time we learn that the VA has spent about $500 million for conference tables and office furniture. No one has been held responsible.

More and more independent voter are becoming sick of the mishandling of the trust that they placed in Obama.  Pew Research tells us that independent voters are 16 points more likely to say they plan to vote Republican (49%) than Democratic (33%) in the midterm. They will determine the outcome of the mid term elections.
