1 1/2 cups rice flour
2 egg yolks
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup cold beer (about)
Add beer until batter is the consistency of pancake batter.
Cut large onions into 1/2″ slices, onions should be at room temperature.
Dredge in flour, shaking off excess
Dip in batter
Fry in 360º oil until golden, turning once. Do not crowd onions in oil or the temperature will lower and the food will be greasier.
