[“Cop fight”] Full-time deputies and part-time drunkards “Chubs” Curry and “Punchy” Pike are hired employees. Hired by a boss who is an elected employee. While we the people can’t fire the hired, we can fire the boss. Elections have consequences, it’s time to end daddy’s legacy in Monroe County and get a Sheriff of the people who’s for the people. Consider every conversation with a cop an investigation. Turn on your camera phones whenever you have law enforcement interaction, they have cameras on too. Immediately ask if you’re being detained or if you’re free to go. If the officer says you’re bring detained, ask for an attorney and keep your mouth shut.
[Covid] Where can I get tested for free?

[Santa’s List Bonus] If Santa keeps track of naughty kids every year, and the year doesn’t start until January 1st, that leaves 6 days after Christmas and New Year left undocumented, so nothing you do can be held against you!

[Crooks] The Senate Armed Services Committee has proposed $301 million in new funding to enhance housing safety and oversight on U.S. military bases, following Reuters reports documenting squalid conditions in privately run (Balfour Beatty) military homes
[“Getting laid for $10”] Where can that guy get laid on Duvall St. for $10? (I’m asking for a friend.)
[“Cop fight”] Those two cops are bullies with badges. “I am saddened by this incident, and it will be fully investigated,” Sheriff Rick Ramsay said in a statement.
Surprise! Surprise!  The Sheriff reinstated those officers saying they were only defending themselves. KW police says they were intoxicated. County Mounties are arguing with KW police over who can lie the best.

Is it legal to shoot “immuniees” if they won’t get the vaxs?
[illogic] I received lots of BS from emailers, but the holy rollers take the cake with their mental masturbations and illogic: “If you choose not to believe in God and go about doing whatever you please and God does exist, you will suffer eternally.”

This is the most useful gift I received this year.

She is picking on an old man without a mask while he is trying to eat!  She’s nuts and violent and looks like a flight attendant. Also, she’s not wearing a mask. Video

[Self-Shooting Gun] Could Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin be the victim of a self-shooting gun as he claims in a recent interview. Link

[Marriage for Better or Worse] On Christmas day, my son who has been married for over five years and has two kids, asked me when the “better” part starts. I told him after the divorce.
I wish Covid testing was convenient. They should have drive through testing on US1 by the flea market, like during the hurricane with those pop-up tents. You should be able to get tested any time you want without an appointment. Same with the jabs.
[“Cop fight”] Let the readers decide who the aggressors were. Link

[Money and Happiness] How to spend your money for maximum happiness. Years of behavioral and psychological research have given us insight into how to splurge optimally. Link

[Socialism For The Rich] Student debt: $1.87 trillion, tax cut for the rich: $1.9 trillion. I’d like to live in a country where we bail out students who need it instead of CEOs who don’t.
[A Soldier’s Journey] Both grandfathers were wounded in combat fighting against the Germans in World War I. On D-Day, my father took part in the Normandy Invasion. He was later wounded during the Battle of the Bulge. Three rounds fired from a soldier’s submachine gun struck him in the solar plexus. On that night he had been assigned to a listening post located outside the American perimeter, monitoring movements of the Third Reich’s 500,000 soldiers, which were forming up to engage in Hitler’s planned offensive designed to split and encircle the allied forces. This compelling and strategically forceful German assault initially breached the American lines, advancing some 50 miles into allied controlled territory before they were stopped. All the marbles were on the line, Hitler was determined to spare Germany from a devastating defeat and negotiate a favorable peace treaty.

Wounds such as my father received at that time meant certain death. However, he managed to crawl back towards the American perimeter, getting hung up and entangled on the barbwire that surrounded their position. He laid outstretched at a 45-degree angle, upper torso turned downward, with blood gushing from his nose and mouth. He was helpless and dying, not being able to free himself from the wire’s grasp.

A comrade-in-arms made his way forward and cut my father’s clothing free from the serrated clutches of steel imprisoning him. He was rescued and transported to England alive–miraculously recovering from his combat injuries.  He was restored to active duty and assigned to a Mounted Military Police Unit, patrolling the Russian and German boarders on horseback after the war. Eventually my father returned to the United States and had me.

All of my uncles having served in the South Pacific welcomed my father back home. They all joined in and celebrated the birth of his first born son.

Please allow me to skip ahead and lead into an article entitled “A Soldier’s Journey”. At brief intervals during the upcoming months, I will attempt to bring everyone up-to-date with snippets that fill in the gaps leading up to the start of that Journey. Full Menu > A Soldier’s Journey

There is a new book out that shows you how to seal up your cave so the hordes of infected plaguers can’t attack you.

Only in the Keys can your dreams be more exciting than your realities. Boring!

[Old Models] As the year comes to an end, I urge you to take care of yourself and avoid accidents because spare parts for old models, like you, are no longer in stock.

[Profit Bad] I love the holidays, but they remind me how the mercantile class rules this rock.  You buy their over-priced junk and it falls apart in days, doesn’t fit like it should, or smells funny, then you try to contact the company. Yeah right,  lots of luck doing that unless you speak Chinese. There’s no honor in marketing after they have your money.

Twas the night before Christmas, but Covid was here, So we all had to stay extra cautious this year. Our masks were all hung by the chimney with care, In case Santa forgot his and needed a spare… Link

[Hair Cream] In the Florida Keys, you must use a 50/50 mixture of Imodium and Neosporin for hair cream.
[Old] I was born before television, penicillin, polio shots, frozen foods, Xerox, contact lenses, Frisbees and the pill. There was no radar, credit cards, laser beams or ball-point pens. Man had not invented pantyhose, air conditioners, dishwashers, clothes dryers, well the clothes were hung out to dry in the fresh air and man hadn’t yet walked on the moon. Link
[Crooks] Balfour Beatty [Perry Court] fined. The U.S. Justice Department said it resolved probes into Balfour Beatty Communities, one of the U.S. military’s largest private landlords, after it pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of major fraud and agreed to pay over $65 million in fines and restitution. Link
[Bimber] Traditional Polish moonshine. Although moonshine has been banned for a long time, Poles have never been bothered about it. They make moonshine – just like their fathers and ancestors. Home-made moonshine is still prevalent in Poland and has become an integral element of culture and tradition.
