[Crumbling Infrastructure] Why do our cars have to be roadworthy? But the roads are not car worthy.

Never underestimate redneck engineering.

It’s unbelievable the fencing on US1 to Big Pine Key is still in shambles.  This is the gateway to BPK and gives a horrible first impression.  Irma struck a year and a half ago. Isn’t it past time to clean up this area?  It appears BPK has been pretty much ignored after the initial Irma clean up.  There are many blight issues as well (destroyed homes remain without work, yard debris is rampant, and the overall look of the island is bad).  This isn’t right, as BPK was the hardest hit area.  Betting this issue wouldn’t be if it were present in areas like Key West, Islamorada or Key Largo.  Who do we have to call about this?
Starbucks is planning to sell beer and wine. Apparently it’s getting difficult to sell sober people a $12 cup of coffee

[Weed Tourism in Colorado] It’s so cool to buy $90 ounce of chronic. But you can’t smoke in public. Didn’t stop me. Tourist are limited to 1 ounce a day but you can dispensary hop for as much as you want. It was so groovy. I want to go back longer and just smoke eat and play. Cost of living is high (get it?). I stayed at the Adagio bed and breakfast.

[Sea Monster From 500 Million Years Ago] Scientists say this creature had 18 tentacles. Researchers say the Daihua sanqiong fossil, found in  the Yunnan Province in South China, may be an ancestor of comb jellies. Video

Everyone wants free college and national healthcare, but only conservatives worry how to pay for it. Liberals say it can be paid for by another employee withholding tax, cutting spending or scrutinizing our military budget and using that extra money to pay for it.

[Friday Joke] A man left for work one Friday afternoon. Instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend hunting with the boys and spending all his wages. when he finally got home on Sunday night, he was confronted by his very angry wife. After two hours, she stopped nagging and said, “How would you like it if you didn’t see me for two or three days?” He replied, “That would be fine with me.” Monday went by and he didn’t see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results. Thursday, the swelling went down just enough for him to see her a little out of the comer of his left eye.

The 38th Annual 7 Mile Bridge Run will take place April 6. Video

[“What to do in an active shooter situation”] Nowhere in the what to do in an active shooter video did it recommend the best way to defend against an active shooter.  That is of course to obtain a firearm, train with it and get licensed to carry it.

[Chemtrails] The Blue Angels are here, so our skies need to be clear. Who says the government has no clue about chemtrails?  Photo March 8, 2019 – Cudjoe Key

[“Winn Dixie checkout counter order dividers should be easier to grab”] Really? They should make them out of wood so the guy behind you can club you with it. You’d have never made it back in the Keys of old, when we carried a cooler to either Marathon or Key West to shop. Oh, and we got our water from cisterns.
