Reginald Antonius Brouwer and Anita Fischer tied the knot on Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Newfound Harbor off Picnic Island.  The ceremony was witnessed by family and friends, many standing on boats anchored To nearby and others wading around the “wedding” boat.  A wedding party attended, rings were exchanged, and the bride even wore a veil!  The ceremony couldn’t have been more fun; it’s one that all who were there will remember for many, many years to come.  Congratulations Reggie and Anita.  We all wish you the best. Well Ed got to admit I'm a bit shy at putting my pic on the internet, but, even better I'll send along a view from my 1st home in Virginia and let you do as you will.  From the old farmer: Black Angus and the green rolling hills of Virginia

We used to live on Cudjoe and still have family on Big Pine and Summerland.  We are now back in Belding, Michigan and miss the wonderful island living the Keys showered our family with.  Here is a picture of the kids who miss all their old friends at Banana Cabana.  Thanks for our great experience!  --David, Angie, Drew, Jonathon, and Eliot

I was in the Navy in key west in the early 70's on the submarine tender Howard W Gilmore. The Keys are very different now. I wish I bought that canal front lot for $1500 when I had the chance. I get down there every couple of years, still some old shipmates there that never left the Keys. Here I am on my deck in Vermont looking over the thawing White River Valley.

This eyesore that was torn down in 2006 stood for about three decades as a landmark to failed dreams and lost hope.
We retired here 4 years ago me, her and the dog, Phoebe. This really is paradise.

This is my dog Spot, the name is so original because she has a white spot on the back of her head. She loves to ride with me on the scooter and the Harley. I trained her while she was still a puppy. Now I can't start up either one without her wanting to ride. She has never been to the Keys, but she loves the water. I would like to see her in the gallery as the 'Hungarians Dog'

This is how we do it in Kingston NY--Where all the Seminole fans gather! If you'll notice, there is black electric tape holding the television on to the step ladder. This is a precautionary measure due to the television being in a hazardous drinking zone.

Edward & Jill. I loved wearing a skirt in Scotland.  I might try wearing it here in Conch Town (Yea, right). Jill's daughter was married to a Scot in an ancient castle, and a fine time was had by all. These ladies are all Keys flowers and recently celebrated their friendship at the Sq. Grouper. We had a visit from a manatee. It was wonderful to see this docile creature enjoy some quiet time in the canal.  This manatee was in the Little Torch Canal at the SR 4A boat ramp. Congratulations to Dave Schuller, Venture Out who, after 44 years, surprisingly received a letter from the Dept. of the US Navy commending him for his service aboard the USS Shangri-la aircraft carrier during the Cuban missile crises in the early 60s.  Enclosed with the letter was a medal for Good Conduct.  Dave has long discarded his old navy uniform so we pinned it on his tee shirt and he wears it proudly.
