Our Focus at this office is taking the time to help people find lower rates for their home, business and boat policies.  We have found that, generally, we can get better rates than anyone else.  We have excellent homeowner and boat programs. I just wrote a policy for someone who was paying an astronomical $2500 for a homeowner’s policy and I was able to get him a better policy for $900.   And there is now the new availability of dwelling with wind policies for homes that are rented out that is much more affordable than separate dwelling and wind policies. We have been pleasantly shocked by how low the quotes are that we have gotten lately for those people with rental homes, whose mortgages require they carry both dwelling fire and wind insurance.  I just did one of those and the premium was less than $700 for dwelling and wind coverage for close to $400,000 of coverage.  It depends on the circumstance and construction of the house, but we have many great options.
