4/30	You better rethink calling the HRS. My friends' daughter was mad and called HRS to hurt her parents. For the next few years their life was miserable. the HRS were relentless and for no just cause. they seem to focus on the wrong people instead of people like the guy in K.W. last week who killed his child.
4/30	To the person with the stinky feet. Try bathing frequently.
4/30	I saw the pilot whales this morning in their new recovery area on the end of the island. It looked like a circus. They had tents and refreshment stands set up; and they even had a tent selling t-shirts. And to top it all off—most of the sick whales were trying to get out! There were four whales with their noses against the yellow restraining barrier biting and pushing the barrier. I think we’re only getting the “financial grants” side of the picture.
4/30	The INS is trying hard to deport the one Polish teenager in Key West, yet the US borders are flung wide open for all the Cubans & ILLEGAL Mexicans by the millions! How long before the lax US gov. is overun by Spanish speaking illegals??? Stupidos!
4/30	We saw the whales the day after they died in the Content Keys. There were ten dead whales in a pool of red blood in this small cove in the Contents passage. One of the whales had one side of it filleted. Others had large areas of skin removed. This was done by scientists who are performing a necropsy on the critters.
4/30	Where-Oh-Where in the Keys is the best place to park the "homeless shower" trailer?
4/29	One of my most embarrassing moments was on the old Air Sunshine (Air Sometimes) flight from K.W. It was a muggy day and I took off my Keno sandals to dry my feet and some lady in the back of the plane said, "It smells like feet." I put them right back on.
4/29	American Airlines is not the only top-feeding vulture in the bunch. Disney is notorious for underpaying their employees, yet the CEO is one of the top three HIGHEST paid CEO's in the US. I read that Disney even mandates the cartoon costumed employees to wear disney-owned regulation underwear that other Disney employees have worn (the crabbie undies are kept in the costume dept). UGH!!! Too cheap to give them their own set of undies? The article ran in the Ft. Lauderdale "Sun Sentinel" several months ago.
4/29	Any parent who brings their diaper-clad baby into the community swimming pool needs to be heavily fined ($50-75.00 at least) when the pweshush baby "accidently" leaves his terd floating in the pool. I am sick of the maintaince crew having to close down the pool because of these inconsiderate, vacant-eyed, clueless mouth-breathing breeders.
4/29	About sending the two girls out for "grocery" money: I have given the girls food & bought them clothes. I take the girls swimming all summer. Every Friday (payday) the 275lb moo mother grills out T-bones or has shrimp w/all the trimmings... by the end of the week, moo sends the girls out begging again. I believe tne begging is for cigarette $$. Moo can't manage money. Food banks are for organized shelters, not indivuals. Thanks for caring!
4/28	I take back calling HRS on that mother not feeding her children, but for God sakes do something to help the kids perhaps calling one of our churches and get help for the family leave groceries at the door, we have a food bank and I'm sure they will gladly feed the kids.
4/27	Amer. Airlines executives asked their employees to take a drastic cut in pay and then awarded themselves hefty bonuses for ruining the company and screwing those same employees. They rewarded themselves for failure.

4/26	The BPK website takes an abnormally long time to load or to get ot of. I think you would have more readers & comment participants if the loading were corrected. I don't think it is a problem on my end beause BPK is the only site I have this problem with. Thank you! Ed: we're working on this problem and the site should be faster within the next week or two.

4/25	Dear Sir or Madam, I would very much appreciate it if you could give me some information on my cousin, Harry Collet, who lived at 616B Avenue H, Big pine Key. According to his former employer, he died seven to ten days ago. He was employed at Publix in Key West. I have no other information than this. If there was an obituary notice in your local paper perhaps it contained information. He has two daughters and one son, Margo Collet, Arthur Collet and a daughter Juliet whose married name I do not know. I have been unable to find addresses or phone numbers for these three although I know approximately where they live. I visited Harry in February. He was in good spirits and feeling fine. 4/25	Twice I have read complaints in the Citizen from ladies whose purses were stolen out of their cars overnight. Take your purses into your homes. Very simple solution. The insurance company shouldn't pay for the broken window because of someone's dingbat behavior. I think the first complainer even left her car unlocked. Good grief! A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
4/24	Since the disastrous defeat of the Toronto Maple Leafs by the Philadelphia Flyers on the deciding game, Tuesday April 22nd, by a score of 6 to 1 the following must be said. "The last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup, many of their fans of today were in diapers. It might well be they'll back in diapers by the time they win it again".
4/24	A single overweight mother in my neighborhood has two beautiful daughters. The daughters come knocking at my door for grocery money, but the lazy Moo breeder of a mother sure has money for wine, cigarettes, and a new car. If that isn't a crime, it should be.

4/23	I was in a guys house in Key West and he had 14 guitars signed by the likes of Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Areo-Smith, Eric Clapton, etc. I wanted to worship there, but he said I had to leave.

4/21	As long as there are smokers in society, there will be protests against smoking. The sad fact is, a lot of smokers were teenagers that started smokng to be accepted into a group of their peers- thinking it is cool. The child usually does not stand out as talented or academic, and is desperate to fit in somewhere. Shortly, the child is addicted to the nicotine, and their lives and future are effected by the stink and stigma smoking brings. Smokers: mad because you were passed up for that promotion? Go figure!
4/21	"Lower income mentality" means that no matter how much money one makes, their actions are representative of the lower income individuals. Like they say "you can take the man out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the man." No offense to the country.

Easter	I feel pity for the smoker that thinks that despite having only a high school education, he is intelligent. Smoking is slow suicide. Smoking is not acceptable by the mid to upper class, nor by the well-bred in an educated society. By working toward a level of monetary "success," remember money does not buy class. The mafia has money, but no class. Topless club owners may have money, but certainly no class. Actions show class, or the lack thereof.
Easter	I've been to Little Palm Island a few times in the past 12 months, and I have to say the women that work in the Spa are some of the most beautiful, thoughtful, intelligent women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Granted, lying naked on a massage table is probably not the best way to get to know someone, but the Spa staff of LPI are exquisitely gorgeous, all of them. So where do they hide themselves when they are not kneading someone's body? In my opinion, any one of these fabulous women would be reason enough to pay attention in the Keys around LPI.
4/19	How come noone has made a plastic wrap dispensor that works? Or for that matter; a salt shaker that works on a Big Pine non-A/C house.
4/19	In response to the non smoker: I graduated Honor Roll from High School, I have held several upper management jobs, I have owned a couple of different businesses, and I am a smoker. Coinincidentally I am in the process of moving to BPK, to run (not necessarily on BPK) a business that is a nationwide biz. I agree that smoking is bad for the overall health of people, but to say that all people that smoke "have income and mentality" problems is just plain """Stupid and morally injust"""! You have your opinion,,,do not make income and intelligence a determining factor,,,it just shows your mentality. My choice to smoke is a personal preference, that I have the right to make.

4/19	Middleast tidbit: Arabs spread newspaper on the floor & serve a lg central rice dish for dinner while they sit on the floor in a circle to eat--- not with utensils folks, they eat with their HANDS! Ed: their right hand.

4/19	The Arabs not only wipe their asses with their hand, but in between their monthly bath they soak the underarm of their garments with cologne before dressing, in an effort to mask the odor. The odor is actually magnified with this practice & they live with it everyday. GAG!!
4/18	I was in Asia and all the toilets had sprayers, like those in the kitchen sink, attached to them. And there were plastic buckets there also. i think the sprayer was to wash your bottom because they use their hand instead of toilet paper, but I never did find out what the plastic bucket was for. Those I asked were reluctant to talk about using their hand.

4/18	Blue flowers? Blue food?....FYI: The color blue was originally used in ancient Rome to wrap newborn baby boys, because they were considered a "gift from heaven". Baby girls were wrapped in pink to represent a "gift of love". Most flowers are in the pink family and given as a "gift of love". Blue is cool, aloof and formal while pink is warm, fresh and inviting to the touch. In a hot climate, paint the walls in a blue shade to feel cooler.
4/17	Reason: Cutting off the left hand in the Arab world for theft. They cut off that hand because the left hand is the hand used to wipe their butts. They don't use toilet paper. The SE Asians and Indians use their bare hand also. Yuck.

4/13	Smokers seem to be among the "lower income" and "lower class" mentality..... if only the smokers could see and smell themselves the way others see and smell them, they would break that nasty habit out of embarrassment and shame. And yes, secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack in adults, or ear nose and throat problems including hearing loss, bronchitis & asthma for children. If you smoke in front of your child, and the child is always saying "What?" you can blame yourself for the child's hearing loss. Gee, go figure why your child is always sick or coughing.
